I spent this past Tuesday in Ruidoso, NM visiting a friend. It was a pretty lazy time, but we did get to go hiking. Nature is wonderful! When you’ve grown up in the desert, you really learn to appreciate trees. Unfortunately, a lot of the trees were burnt in a forest fire a couple years ago. Though it’s sad, it did make for some interesting photos. Also thought it was a great metaphor for my life — I’m burning old bridges to move forward. Is that a cheesy metaphor? Whatever. This is my blog and you signed up for this 🙂
Anyways, here are some pictures from the trip.
